Brownie Balls


  • 2.5 cups (350grams) of raw pitted dates

  • 1.5 cups (200grams) of almonds

  • 1/2 cup (60grams) bournville cocoa powder

  • 1-2 tsp vanilla extract

  • Pinch of salt

  • 3 tbsp honey or maple syrup

  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil (rapeseed oil or melted coconut oil)

  • Milled linseed mix (linseed, goji berries, pumpkin seeds)


1. Soak dates in boiling water for 15 minutes 2. Meanwhile add remaining ingredients to food processor. 3. Blend dates and other ingredients until nuts are blended into very small amounts 4. depending on blender, blend for 2-5 minutes 5. Roll mixture into small balls (makes 15 balls roughly) 6. Coat balls in linseed mix or shredded coconut 7. Chill in fridge for 1 hour+
